Scientific Director and Founder: Christos Daras
Christos Fotis Daras is an implantologist and dentist born in Athens in 1972, the third child of pediatrician Efstathios Daras. He graduated from Leontio Lyceum of Patisia in 1990, then studied at Stafford House Tutorial College in London before completing his dental degree at Semmelweis University in Budapest.
He went on to specialize in implantology at the New York College of Dentistry in the United States, followed by advanced training at the clinic of Professor F. Khoury, Chair of Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Münster, Germany, and at the clinic of Dr. I. Urban in Budapest, where he specialized in bone regeneration for large jaw defects, earning parallel certification from the University of Szeged.
He holds a postgraduate degree in implantology from the European Association of Osseointegration, a program developed jointly by six leading European universities: Malmö (Sweden), Groningen (Netherlands), Düsseldorf (Germany), Zurich, Madrid, and Lisbon. He recently completed a further postgraduate program at the University of Bologna alongside world-renowned Professor Giovanni Zucchelli, focusing on soft tissue management around natural teeth and implants.
He also holds a postgraduate degree in dental radiology and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Dr. Daras serves as a key opinion leader for IZEN and Neobiotech, presenting at major international conferences, and holds surgical certifications from leading implant manufacturers including Nobel Biocare, MIS, Friadent, and 3i.
Since 2000, he has practiced at his own private dental clinic, working alongside a dedicated clinical team.
